Friday, Octobenr 16 Class Meeting Notes and Reminders

Today's class meeting went as follows:

Atticus lead the meeting.
We first went over last meetings minutes and proposals.
Orin pointed out that opposite day did not happen as passed. Beth mentioned that some people did do it.

Announcements:
Beth: All school meeting reminder: Say things politely. Ask questions that people can answer. Be positive

Propsals:
Terra: Halloween Party/ Activities at school. This proposal passed. Beth asked for details and for Terra to form a committee. Terra will be the chair with Griffin and Orin's help. Activities planned for Friday, October 30.

Orin: Would like to add the job of "door opener" to the board. Did not pass.

Estelle and Hannah: Would like a field trip to Kruger's Pumpkin Patch. This proposal passed. The girls are to call the farm and get information about cost etc with Beth's help.

Terra: Would like to have board game day on Thursday, October 29 afternoon. Passed.


SCHOLASTIC Orders:

I put a packet of Scholastic book orders in everyone's take home box. Orders will be due on Friday, October 30, 2009. Our next Order (the last one before the holiday) will be an online order due on Nov. 30 Details to follow.

Chinnok Books:

Support our school by buying your new Chinook book from our school. If you are missing an order form, they are available in the common area. You can also email me mausjuli@gmail.com or Suzanne Scopes scopess@hotmail.com for more information.

SCRIP:

Don't forget we have New Seasons SCRIP available every Monday and Friday morning in the common area. If you cannot make those times, please email me and I can arrange to meet you at another time. Big SCRIP orders are due Monday, November 2.
